Hey, I’m Abby. I’m currently a university nursing student and work at Norwich Football Ground. I joined Downham YFC in October 2023. I joined YF to make new friends, learn about new things and get involved in new experiences. I look forward to helping lead the club for its 80th Year!

Hi I’m Henry, I joined Downham Market YFC in 2022 & it has been one of the best decisions I have made. I have got to meet new people & go places where I might not have been able to go before.
I have taken on the role of vice chairman this year as I wanted to try something new & to give me a new challenge, as well as helping the club to reach it's goals for the year.

Hi I’m Sammi, I joined yfc this year to make friends with people who have similar interests.

Outside of YFC I compete my horses at a national level show jumping, representing team Norfolk.

Hey, I’m Tia. I joined in September 2023 with Issy as we thought it would be fun and get to know more people. I took the committee role because I wanted to get more involved.

Hey! My name is Ellie. I work with my Mum, arranging training courses. I first joined Young Farmers to meet new people and have fun. I have now been the club Treasurer for 2 years and enjoy helping organise the events throughout the year to raise as much money for charity!

Hello I'm Izzie, I help out with sheep and work part time in hospitality and am planning to go to Easton doing agriculture level 2. I am now the DMYF Programme organiser, I started young farmers back in January. I joined young farmers as I wanted to make new friends with the same interests as me and learn more about this industry.

Hi I’m Ashlyn, I joined young farmers in 2022 to make new friends and for a good social life. I have been a committee member for 2 years and have really enjoyed it.

Hello! My name is Emma and I am social security and I have been at the club two years now. I help my parents on the farm and I have just finished college and I am now full qualified hairdresser I joined young farmer to make friends and enjoy the meetings we have.

Hey, I’m Danny and I joined Downham Market YFC in February 2024. I work on an arable farm. I joined downham as they are very kind and welcoming. I am one of the competitions secretaries. I wanted to join the committee so I can help improve and club.

Hi, I’m Samantha, I'm a carpenter in the family business as well as living on a livestock farm. I joined young farmers to meet new people that grew up in a similar lifestyle to me. This year I decided to join the committee as part of the competitions team!

Hi, I’m Jess. I joined DMYFC last year because living in the countryside as I do it was a way to make friends that had similar interests in farming and agriculture as me. This year I have joined the committee as joint Press Secretary.

Hi I’m Issy, I joined downham market yf in September 2023 to have the chance of making new friends. I’m currently studying A levels and in my spare time I enjoy eventing my horses.

Hi i’m Nathan. I joined Downham YFC 4 years ago. I joined to have new experiences and meet new people with similar interests. I’ve done a couple of roles over my year at the club including chair and social secretary l. I stayed on the committee this year to help support new members.

Hi I’m Joe I am an engineer specialising in restoring and building classic cars and fabricating bespoke car components. I joined YF last year to meet new people, I really enjoy the weekly meets and the opportunities that YF brings. In my spare time I enjoy growing pumpkins, running and looking after my pet rabbits.

Hey, I’m Joey! I joined young farmers because I wanted to meet more like minded people. Being a tractor driver on your own for a lot of hours this was a way to meet new people. I have been a member of YF for 2 years and this year I have decided to go on the committee to help progress the club further.

Hello, I’m Elliot and I am a civil servant. I have been a part of DMYFC since 2015. I have had various roles such as vice chairman and chairman. I joined YF to make new friends with people of similar interests. My hobbies include going to watch football and I am a fan of Norwich city Football Club.

Hi, I’m Annie! I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse, but have run my own business since the start of 2023, offering a range of Pet Care Services. I joined Young Farmers in 2017 and have held various roles within the committee such as Secretary and now joint Club Leader.
